Improved Mental Health
Depression, anxiety and addiction are skyrocketing in our society due to loneliness and isolation. Since ProSocial primarily relies on live teaching and community, these sessions have the potential to provide people with interactions they might otherwise not be able to access.
Furthermore, because the content is designed to discuss spiritual matters, these conversations transcend the superficial and nourish the soul in ways that other online interactions often fail to achieve.

Reduced Ideological Fissures
Among friends and families, there has been growing alienation as people retreat further into their political worldviews. Research suggests the best way for humans to find common ground is by being exposed to a variety of views rather than simply hearing information that reinforces our beliefs.
Since ProSocial offers seekers a means to anonymously explore their spiritual interests, they will likely be exposed to foreign worldviews.

Over time, as more seekers utilize the platform, the effect of mixing with a diversity of backgrounds should generate a greater degree of empathy, sympathy and compassion, which has the potential to mend ideological fissures.
Societal Problem Solving
Many of the societal problems we face require large numbers of people working together to develop solutions. Often, these solutions necessitate sacrifice.
In the past, sacrifice was something learned and modeled in spiritual communities. Therefore, it is not surprising that with the decline of institutional religion, we have also seen a sharp increase in individualism.

If the ProSocial seeker userbase grows to the point where a volunteering feature can be added, seekers will be able to give back to their communities, elevating the value of personal sacrifice. Concurrently, awareness of social problems will also increase. This positive feedback loop will allow for local organizing of critical masses of individuals who can create real and significant change.
