Academic Research

  • ProSocial is continually receiving data from our members when they go on outings. Every time an outing is complete, the ProSocial application seeks feedback on the effectiveness of the matching algorithm.

  • This feedback is designed to enhance the member experience by creating better friendship matches. However, there are more nuances to the data than we have the ability to research ourselves. 

​

  • ProSocial is seeking academicians who have an interest in combing our data points for new insights into relationship formation as well as blind spots where we can improve the way we serve our members.

  • Research Area: ProSocial prefers academics who specialize in social or personality psychology or sociology, but is willing to consider proposals from other disciplines.
     

  • Eligibility: We welcome research professors as well as PhD grad students.
